My 10 year+ blower motor is really loud and vibrates the dash area when it revs up to cool or heat quickly. Normal operating speed seems fine. I'm thinking bearings are shot and it may be time to replace with a new motor/impeller assembly from RockAuto. Is this a fairly easy job and wondering if anyone has done a tutorial. Looks like Rock has several parts options. Thanks.

3-bolt installs tend to not attract tutorials, but you could take pics and be the first. Members have reported more dead mice nests than bad bearings in there, so be prepared.

Swapped it out this weekend and found quite a few oak leaves in the old blower had gathered to one side and were probably throwing it off balance. There's a good how-to video on youtube if anyone needs a reference. New oem blower purchased on ebay for about $40 was a perfect fit and runs vibration free at all speeds. Glad I did it. In the future will probably pull blower to remove any debris and reinstall.
