AC Accumulator Leak?

Hello all. I have a 2005 Trailblazer LS and it looks like I may have a leak on the AC pressure switch on the accumulator? I found a yellow oil that appears to be coming from the sensor. I did take a look at an older post from 2013 by forum member Hatchet showing a replacement procedure of the sensor that looks pretty straight forward. Most likely the o ring in the sensor has gotten old perhaps? AC is blowing cold. I should probably get a refrigerant check. Never had an AC work done yet on the car.

Here is the post from Hatchet:

It's an easy fix. I'd replace the whole switch because they can crack or develop leaks to eliminate it as a source of the leak. Don't forget to replace the o-ring on the accumulator fitting and put a little PAG oil on it. You can have a shop top it up and maybe add a little oil to replace what may have been lost.

Sounds good. I went ahead and ordered the part. Would I need to take it to a shop to add the pag oil that was lost? The yellow oil I saw is the pag oil right?

It's oil with a UV dye. Yes, if you don't have the necessary equipment. It would be a good idea to have it evacuated and they'll be able to tell you how low it was by how much they too out.

Thanks for the help. The pressure sensor on the accumulator was not bad to replace at all. Came with a new o-ring as well. Will check to see if it remains dry going forward.
