I am going to warranty the 2nd airpump. Will this cause more problems if I remove it and run the truck for a time?

Sorry, there's no context and I failed to find your previous posts. Which air pump - the air ride or the SAIS? If it's the air ride, and you're already running around on your axle bumpstops, you already know the ride sucks and you might break things if you hit a bump hard. If it's the SAIS - you can safely run without that forever as long as you read your codes regularly to make sure the SAIS pump code isn't concealing another one that's more serious.

The SAIS is only used to reduce emissions during a cold start. 2002 didn't even have the system You'll be perfectly fine without it as long as you read codes regularly to make sure a second critical one doesn't sneak up on you while you assume your CEL is on for the SAIS problem only.
