I know that the word is that this won't be available in the US, but I saw this vid and thought I'd post it here.
If nothing else, I'm liking the rims.

:quiverlips::puke::puke:

not my cup of tea at all!!.. some aspects of it are nice.. but the overall look, im not diggin...

I liked how it came up out of the floor, it was a nice animation sequence.

I like a lot of the interior aspects but the outside of it sucks :frown:

I think it would grow on you. It definetley has a clutch pedal. I would buy one today if it had the new 2.8 Duramax diesel engine!

I think they've taken a bunch of cues from the Acadia. I like it. The TB/E didn't have a full redesign over its life so we're really used to seeing it a certain way.

when i saw the blue accent lighting i though carlton needs to file a patent infringement lawsuit

does any body know if it is a full fram or unibody it looked like unbody to me and smaller

didn't see a frame under the rocker........

*cancel that

A new TrailBlazer is on the way, and it will use the global body-on-frame platform of the new Chevy Colorado pickup.

It does look smaller, but it is BOF.

Its a body on frame... I've actually have done a little research on this my self. I'm not liking the body, but I'm glade they are bringing back the Trailblazer. I've thought about posting a video if this here, but decided not too lol

A few links report it wont be coming to the US, at least for the 2012 MY. Looks like the new Colorado should start production in 2012 for a 2013 MY release.

Chevy Trailblazer with 2.8 L Duramax Diesel - TDIClub Forums

New Diesels Power Chevy

Looked like 2.5L and 2.8L new Duramax engines paired with either manuals or 6spd autos. I would love a 2.8L Duramax with 6spd auto in a new TrailBlazer (or Colorado, actually make them good tow rigs without having to get the 5.3L V8), 180hp and 346tq. Thats more tq than the 5.3 and about 50tq less than the SS.

If the trailblazer makes it to the US, I'll be in line to buy one. The updated truck looks really good and the desiel would help on the mileage side.

:iagree: I like everything about it, except the taillights are weird. That engine rocks! If they do decide to bring it here, and it has 3 rows that is our new truck for my fiancee and I keep mine.

IMO, from the released pictures it looks an updated Lambda, with the seemingly long rear doors, slightly higher look in the rear, and the seemingly long wheelbase.

The million dollar question is....

Does the front differential attach to the side of the oil pan

I could get used to the looks, especially with that small diesel! We need that in the US!

Every time I see a picture of the new TB or the video(s), I get all giddy like a kid at Christmastime

Even though its a complete redesign, I applaud GM for bringing back what was a very popular vehicle. The looks could (and will) grow on me too. I really hope they release it in the US! :wootwoot:

I don't like it at all. Looks like the interior from a 2005 malibu. Hard plastics and cheap as hell. That navy blue color just screams chinsy. And that circular climate control? Please. Unless they plan on making it a legit vehicle for the USA, don't even bother GM.

How is that different from our GMTs?

The interior doesn't look that bad to me, and we have no idea what materials are used since it is just a computer rendering (and a pixelated youtube video at that).

It just doesn't do it for me. I may look at one to replace the wife's truck in a few years, but I don't see that I would be buying one for myself.

man its gonna me a pain to get those roof racks off!! lolol jk. i like the front. the back is aalll right i guess. but three rows of seats? ehh... i like my short base better. need to look into it more to get a better opinion. nice CGI tho (off topic)

Here's my contribution on this. These pics were shared by another member that attended the Dubai motor show in November where it was revealed. Enjoy! :wootwoot:

Thanks for posting those photos. Much appreciated.
Front end looks like the current GM front ends to me. Back end looks like $*@t to me.
Biggest issue I see is that I don't see a trailer hitch !!!!!

No worries bud! about the hitch yeh doesn't seem to have one, but then again most of the newer models are automatic. Press the button and tataaa it opens! it's impressive but you'll learn to be patient while it takes it's sweeeet time opening and closing!

I guess that I'm still old school. If it has a hitch I like to see it !!!

:rotfl: ! if anything I would prefer the hitch, nothing like that slamming sound when unpacking junk from the backend lol

never know it may come to the US since the colorado will be here and they look pretty much the same.
