I am looking for the latest GM Navigation DVD disc for our trucks. It is part number 22846887 from 2013. Does anyone have one for a reasonable price? Reasonable price = <$50. Is anyone providing "backup copies" for $15 or so? $199 for maps that are basically two years old is too much money. :hissyfit: Especially since I can get better updated NAV and maps for free from Google maps. Does anyone know where the ISO of this disc is available online? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Are torrents reliable? I have downloaded a couple "starter" files and it tells me there are no seeds? How long does it usually take for a torrent download to complete if you have to wait for seeds?

OK. so which besides the latest.. 22846887 part numbers work in our trucks? I am under the understanding that only certain part numbers work? Is this list of previous part numbers comprehensive or are there other numbers that also work?

You need a double density DVD (think that's what they were called) burner as a starting point. I ended up just getting one off eBay or something (an OE disc) - they're so old now they pop up all over the place. But I now have an 8gb dvd burner and a box of discs to look at!

So old in fact that I had the experience of getting royally screwed when a road was changed while I was towing the RV and wound up in a dead end. Even maps in brand new Cadillacs are out of date that I have to switch over to Google Maps when driving customers home in newer developments.

It's almost not even worth the bother to look for a 10 year old map.

I think I've decided to ditch my OEM deck and pick up an aftermarket unit (the Atoto F7XE unless something else comes along!) with a Crux GM48 to retain everything except OnStar (hahahaha..cough..) - then it just does wireless carplay off my iPhone to display google maps.
