2000 K3500 pickup old style body tailgate question

Hey guys - on my 2000 K3500 tailgate (it has the older 90s body style), the pivot points on the tailgate are corroded bad, and I was wondering if on the tailgate if they can be replaced? I know on the side rails that they bolt on, but on the gate I see 1 bolt and do not know if they are welded on also.

For whatever reason the tailgate was collecting water and the left side bottom of the tailgate is rusted out pretty bad. Just wondering if I will need to find a junkyard tailgate that is in better shape than mine or if I can replace the pivot point parts on the existing tailgate.

Might be easier to just grab a better condition one from the junkyard.

No not welded on have repalced a few over the years. They are a simple bolt on replacement.

I had a 98 with the same issue, they rotted out pretty freely. Like mrphoenix80 said, their bolt on
