The more I look at the picture, I think that tool was to remove the strut arm from the bushing. But Roadie did say that he had a method for removing the bushing with the control arm still attached.

It's the lower strut mount. I saw on trailvoy that "the roadie" had a method for removing the bushing while on the truck.

I've spent a few hours searching on how to replace the front lower control arm outer bushing with little results. I'm sure it has been discussed before so my apologies if I bring it up again. From my searches, it seems it can be done with the control arm still attached to the Envoy. The one...

So let me see if I have this straight...They don't make direct replacement resistor for the auto climate controls on my son's 2002 envoy. You need to get the Delco 1581773 kit and splice in the wires from the existing 3-wire connector?

Thanks. I do have the schematics from the GM manual. Just need to know how to bench test the motor. Seems simple but I tested the motor in another Envoy and it works fine but can't get it to work outside of a vehicle.

Old thread...but does anyone know how to bench test the motor? If I could bench test it, I could rewire it to work. I bought a new motor but still does not work.

I have a 2005 Terraza and it's been a pain in the a** since new. Mostly electrical problems with stabilitrak, abs and other electrical failures. Maybe I got a bad one but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you check websites like Consumer Reports, Lemon-Aid and others, you'll see it's not...

Thanks...I did a fluid exchange on my 04 avalanche with 210,000 kms and its all good. Just worried about the 306,000 kms on the envoy...there is an equal amount of good/bad opinions on the exchange.
