I am looking at several sets of Fuel Offroad - Hostage wheels and I am seeing a few ranges for offsets.

The first one which is what comes up with a search for the TB is a 17x8.5" with a +25MM offset. However when I put it to 17X9" I have a choice of either -12MM, or 1mm. I was also able to get +14MM with the 17X8.5". Bolt pattern is 6x127 for either. website is Wheelplus USA : Discounted Custom Wheels and Tires!

Now my question is could I run the the 17X9" 6/127 with a -12MM offset and run a 31" equivalent tire without spacers. I know the ultimate will it fit guide, but if my understanding is correct this places the forward edge of the wheel around 1" further than stock. Any help is appreciated.

here's a site with the backspace http://www.mhtwheels.com/wheel.cfm?cat=683 from everything I have read you need a 4.5 backspacing to clear the upper ball joint

If you do a 265/70R17 Tire you should be able to do it with a 5" backspace. I don't think you want to do a 9" wide wheel either. Take a look at 4wheelparts.com for the MHT Fuel wheels, I think they give more info.
