?? Maybe I'm being confusing but the black break dust that gets on you're Aluminum mag rims that pits it's way into the Aluminum how do you get that off? There use to be a GREAT Aluminum cleaner but some dumb kid drank it and it was taken off the shelf so I don't know of anything that works as good as it

What about sanding you wheels down to remove the pitting and then give them a few coats of paint with some clear. Plastidip is always an option. Quick, cheap, and easy.

I like the looks of the factory rims. I just need a cleaner strong enough to get it off. Like I said in a earlier post there use to be a cleaner that did it great! Burned like crap if you got it on you're skin but they took it off the market :sadcry:

Tried bleach white? That works pretty good for me.

Maybe post a pic? I'm not sure what's so hard about getting brake dust off and I have no idea what a factory mag rim looks like. Never even heard of a mag rim.

I guess it's not common around you guys. It's like the break dust eats into the Aluminum. Pain in the butt to get off.
It's just the standard rims

That is the spots I'm talking about I have tried purple power. And the Aluminum cleaner wall mart sells won't even touch it

Just take it offroad and use rocks to scrape it off.

Why post in the offroad section then?

Would you like me to move it to somewhere more appropriate?

Read a few post up. I didn't. I put it in the appearance thread and after a few post someone moved it. No idea why
