I'm new to the site and I know this question has been asked a ton. Everything I searched all pics are not working or some say yes some say no.

Well the question is... Can I fit a 27/55 on 20" OE TBSS rims on my 03 trailblazer??

I'm lowered 1.5/3 with the ground force kit. Only reason why I'm really considering these tires is because I have a brand new set that I just took off my suburban. I figure instead of buying new tires I'll just swap the tires from my suburban rims to these TBSS rims and use on my 03TB.

Tires have less than 400 miles on them. There brand spanking new.

If anybody has pictures also that would be even better.

Cliff notes:

Lowered 1.5/3

Want to squeeze 275/55s on OE tbss rims on my 03TB.

Thanks again fellas.

From doing a little reading on TBSSowners, it appears the tire/rim combo you are asking about might not fit. Below is a thread on TBSSowners where a member put 305/50R20 on the rear and 275/55R20 on the front. His TBSS is stock height. He did mention that he had to use 1" wheel adapters up front and use 1/2" adapters in the rear, but he went with a wide tire in the rear so you might not need adapters in the rear.

Majority of TBSS owners that are either lowered or stock height recommend going with 275/45R20 or 265/50/R20 with the stock TBSS rims.

Since you already have the tires, maybe you could have them mounted to do a test fit. I believe the TBSS member stated that he borrowed a set of used tires and had them mounted to test prior to paying for new tires.

How does your current ride height compare to that of the stock ride height on a TBSS?

Below is a couple pics he had posted of the tires installed.

Thanks man. I don't know how I misses that thread. I searched for hours reading threads.

Yea I guess I'll have to test for and see how I like it. Otherwise I'm buying a new set of tires

I found using Google is almost easier than searching the site. I just type in the topic I am looking for then after type in the site. Example, I typed in the search bar "275/55R20 TBSSowners". That brought up every thread that was started with 275/55R20 in the title. I do the same with GMTNation as well.

If you have some extra cash and really want to use those tires, It would pay to go ahead and do a test fit to see if they will work at your current ride height and figure out what size adapters you will need.

You could price out the adapters and what it will cost to mount/balance and unmount the tires (if they do not fit) and compare that to what a set of (4) 275/45R20 or 265/50R20 tires will cost. My Hankook tires ran me about $1000 for the tires, mount, balance, and road hazard warranty.

275-55-20 comes out to almost a 32 inch diameter. You are not fitting those up front without spacers.

I'm a little confused here. Your tires measure out to a 32.4 according to the interwebz.

My tire will measure out to a 31.9.

I'm thinking since you squeezed yours in. Why wouldn't mine fit? Do you have more mods done to do so??

I don't mind running a wheel spacer. Nothing more than a 1/2.

What drop kit are you running? I just fell in love with your truck. It's simple and clean.
