My '05 SLE 2WD needs some front end work, and whilst I'm at it, I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to upgrade to B4U SS parts. So far I've got the following on my list:

- Upper and lower control arms (same part #'s as '06 SS) - 25786775 (R) and 25786774 (L) upper/19133556 (R) and 19133555 (L) lower
- SS front springs - 15125884
- SS front struts - 15125520
- SS front sway bar - 15125526
- SS front sway bar bushings - 15125531
- Front stabilizer links - 15918822 (R) and 15918823 (L)

Got a question though. The SS comes with rear air suspension and there is no direct replacement coil spring. I’m trying to figure out if there are OE spring replacements for the TrailBlazer SS, so I looked on RockAuto:

’05 Envoy SLE 4.2L L6 2WD
Rear coil springs: GM 19261981/ACDelco 45H2133

’06 TrailBlazer SS 6.0L V8
Rear coil springs: GM 19261983/ACDelco 45H2134

The part numbers are different, but there’s no mentioning of ride height. I checked ACDelco's parts catalog and the 45H2134 is listed primarily for the SS, but they also list the '07 Envoy with the 5.3L. Just wondering if anybody is in the know. No point dropping the front an inch with the SS springs and leaving the rear as is. If I cannot get rear coils to match the fronts, then I'm going to leave what's on there and go with Bilstein HDs. Otherwise, I'll get SS shocks in the rear to match the front struts.

I'm open to suggestions if anyone reckons I should add anything else to my list. I'm going with OE parts primarily because I can order them through the dealer, without having to resort to paying an arm and a leg for shipping across the Atlantic. That's not to say that isn't a possibility in the future, however.

Thank you!
