After getting into an accident and having the bumper cover shatter due to extreme cold wisco winter days, i decided no time like the present to do some upgrades to the looks. So i did this with the bumper cover off (so i could work in a warm house not cold garage and also have every angle available to make this custom set up)
Square LED Fog Lights
-nilight flush mount 3" LED (i also used these to replace the backup lights)
-Rugged Terrain Jeep Square LED mounts (part no 11232.24. NOT .23...those are for rounds)
-female 880 light socket
Mounts need to be drilled and trimmed to fit the nilight, "L" shape from the bracket kit needs to be trimmed as well. I suggest paint after to prevent rust. cost is about $40 for the brackets, $50 in stainless hardware and $10 for the lights. I also found i had to trim out a section of the bumper reinforcement loop for the OEM fog light pocket to the stainless bolts would clear.
I already had the upgraded LED flasher module from GM installed because of having LED bulbs in the tail lights, so you do not need the resistors going from the lights to the harness.
I also included pics of that the backup lights look like before and after. (pre de-badge.. which i also took off all factory badges with heat gun, rubber wheel, and then polishing compound)
