Some of my HVAC lights are out and I'm looking for a place that can replace them with LEDs or something.....does anyone know where I should take the truck to? A radio shop?

Blck, where are you located?
I can't find a DIY for the conversion. There's a write up I think but the pics were down....know of any others?
It's a bit of a haul, not quite worth the gas for a mod that will be a pretty quick one to complete. My advice, watch some Youtube videos on how to solder components. That will give you an idea of what you're in store for. Once you think you understand what's going on there, buy some equipment as Dmanns67 suggested.diablo2184 said:Thanks for the replies. Practice soldering with some scrap wires or busted electronics so you can get a feel for it, without worrying about damaging stuff. Once you get your technique down, then look into what LEDs you want to use, and from there use an online resistor calculator to tell you what resistors to pair with them. That's enough of a start for now.
So is my defrost light. I find it in the dark because it is the only one out. lolDenali n DOO said:Don't message him, add to the thread then I can learn too. My recirculate light is out.
I thought most people had trouble with the manual HVAC's sliders, hadn't heard of troubles with the auto system.diablo2184 said:Lol will do.
I see people have trouble taking apart the knobs on the Auto HVAC. Does anyone know how to without damaging anything?
So they just pull off? I thought I had read a few weeks ago in a thread that the knobs were hard to pull off the Autos...Mounce said:I thought most people had trouble with the manual HVAC's sliders, hadn't heard of troubles with the auto system.
