Those strips flash AO instead of AW right? Or have you tested that part yet?

They flash amber/off. I don't have a flasher setup to show function, but they have independent leads and a common ground. I'm sure you're aware that there are two power leads going to that socket. The parking light lead loses power when signal wire is activated.

As long as the parking lead remains off for that extra second when the turn signal first loses it's power, then I'm good.

It's going to be an $80 option. Only slightly more than the cost of plug in 3157 switchbacks.

amber switchbacks: $80 (if I read correctly they can function as turn signals?)
$555 (or a bit more) plus shipping to 66021, works for me...starts counting pennies

You are correct. And I can split up payments...it seems to take the sting away a little.

I may have overlooked it in this thread, but did you ever get around to retrofitting Envoy headlights? I'm interested...
