No Reverse

When transmission was shifted into reverse there was a loud screeching sound and then a loud bang. Now there is no reverse, and vehicle will drive forward, but does not feel correct. Any help is greatly appreciated.

IMHO. That unfortunately sounds like the death of a transmission.

Yup. Bet there are metal shaving if you drain some fluid. Check and if so, plan on a rebuild.

You have a broken sunshell and possible planetary gear failure.
