Moose... about that Windows Image Re-sizer Application...

I finally found a Linux Analog that works perfectly in the Debian 8 (Jesse) called "CONVERSEEN". This APT .deb Package can be found along with a whole list of others at the following Debian Repository listing:

https://packages.debian.org/testing/graphics/

I found it was very slick in being able to Drag and Drop Bulk Images and gives a good variability in allowing the User to re-size below or near to the one megabyte restriction level on GMTNation. I suspect that this application is also available at the YUM (Yellow Dog Update Manager) sites in the .RPM package format for the other more common flavors of Linux such as Fedora 21, Ubuntu, Linux Lime, etc. Once installed it can be launched from the desktop or by typing in "converseen" without the quotes in a Terminal command line manner.
