How'd it go?

REally well! I brought it home with me!
Everything checked out well. Driving and inspection. I found some stuff before I bought, so I was pretty aware of the condition, which was mechanically sound.
Needs tires and some TLC. But, nothing too bad!

Now I will have to post other threads pertaining to the issues I want to address!!

Thanks everyone for the assistance with the purchase! Now to make it my own..

It is super clean. I found a little bit of bubling on the bottom inside of the doors, but outside of that, the body is rock solid.

Those running boards are coming off. They look silly. I will probably try to sell them on here.

I started today. I need lots of advice on different stuff, I figure I should search around this forum first before I start wasting people's time with the questions that may already be on here.

I think the moon roof is my favorite. I am really gonna like that.. I have a 95 Firebird with T-tops so I am right at home with flow-through ventilation

I have an 06 SWB 4.2i6 LS w/3.73's as well. Same color, no foglights.

I would totally ask how much for the running boards but shipping would be ridiculous. Not planning on takin her to the Carlisle truck Nationals in PA in August are ya? I would totally help you take them off if you help me put them on.. haha

Let me know how your mudflaps workout. Just like mine minus the flaps and bug guard (EDIT: and resonator! Cut it off!)I have a black unpainted grille crossbar too.

I live on gravel. I love the mudflaps.

Unfortunately, no. As you will soon learn firsthand, mpg's on these things are not stellar, and we are on a pretty tight budget this summer. But thanks! Beware the mod bug...

Ok. I thought I would try!

I am monitoring the MPGs. I just filled up for the first time, so I started tracking. I do plan on getting a PCM tune to help with MPG, as well as a CAI.

That mod bug bites hard. My Firebird doesn't have much left that is stock... Damn money-pits!! haha

Indeed. And to think I bought this thing to get AWAY from dumping money into old crappy broken cars. Now I want to dump even MORE money into a perfectly running vehicle to make it sexier. My wife thinks I'm insane but she knows she'll enjoy toolin around in a lifted modded sexy assed TB. I know I will.

You sound like I did when I got my tb a year ago.... First mods were a satellite radio and res delete along with new muffler... In about a week and a half I will be ordering a 3" lift kit... Your wallet will hate you again pretty fast lol.

I have said that about all three vehicles that I have owned. My TB almost made it a year stock.

7 years and 118k miles stock, minus the resonator. No short term mod plans.
