Alpine CDA-9835 Switched to 3-Way Active
Hifonics HFi 55.4
Vifa NE25VTS-04 1" Silk Dome Tweeters (Installed where the Bose speakers would go in the dash)
Dayton Audio RS180-4 7" Mid/Midbass (Installed in stock location, made new MDF baffles and plastidipped them so they would not absorb moisture)
Shark Audio SHKAMP 2500.1
JL Audio W7 13.5"
The Head Unit takes car of all of my crossovers, I have the Tweeters High Passed at 1600hz with a 12db slope, Mids are Band Passed at a Low Pass of 1600hz @ 12db High Pass 80hz @ 18db, and the Subwoofer is has a Low Pass of 80hz @ 12db. The EQ is all flat but the low end and high end, I had to bump them down a tad. It sounds wonderful and I was more than surprised by my front stage. The sound stage is up nice and high, the drivers blend together almost seamlessly, and considering I dont have much experience tuning with true sound quality in mind, I would say It turned out way better than I had expected.
If anybody is wondering I am NOT running rear speakers, I plan on making MDF block off plates for the rear doors. I still need to fully treat the interior (more specifically the doors).
Any questions, comments, or concerns let me know. I am just happy about it so I figured I would post it up.
