NOTHING is more distressing than going through the rigmarole of listening to Raggedy Engine Noises after first removing the Serpentine Belt and eliminating the Cause & Origin from the Front Accessories areas. Likewise, it is equally disappointing to have removed the Transmission Access Cover and determined that the Noise is NOT being caused by a Cracked Flex-Plate.

The only things left after that must involve either the Rotating Assembly or the Valve Train and it follows on that like it or not, you'll be doing an Engine R&R and Re-Build ...or as in THIS Case, Swapping in a Crate Motor.

The Value of watching this "Engine Swap on Speed Dial" Video is to stress Three Things:

(1) NEVER BURN YOUR PRIOR EMPLOYER BRIDGES!!! THIS dude had the pure privilege of being able to have return access to the Garage, the Tools and the Lift for around 48 Hours at his Old Boss' Place. So... Not TOO Shabby, Brother!

(2) You are looking at a VERY Long, Drawn Out Process when performing ANY Engine R&R even under the BEST of circumstances and the sheer number of the "Little Things" you will need to do are quite Staggering. EVERY Post Engine Installation First Start Up...is always a HEART STOPPER!

(3) Check out the Extra Long 1/2" Drive Extension being used here to split the Bell Housing and Rear of the Engine Block as mentioned and shared by @m.mcmillen a while back as being A Tool well worth adding to your Roll-Around Tool Box for just such occasions. You Can BET That It IS!

...and the Road Test Video:
