I've sent several samples of my engine oil to Blackstone Labs in Ft. Wayne for analysis. Here are the results so far:
The most recent sample at 201,330 miles is Mobil1. The samples at 182k and 187k are Amsoil, and the first sample at 167.5k is Mobil1.
The initial sample of Mobil1 had some rough service off-road use on it, so that is why I tested Mobile1 again.
Next, I will try Amsoil with a Mobil1 filter for 6,000 miles to see how it compares.
(Amsoil 25,000 and Mobil1 Advanced full synthetic)

What air filter are you running? I know some people have reported high silicon content when using K&N as they really don't do too great a job at that.

Interesting on the iron.

It is an ACDelco filter. I did have a K&N, but I gave that to Regulator a long time ago.

so at 182 and 187 did you just take a sample and top off or was that at a change interval?
One other thing to note is that while on your last sample you only have 6k miles, you do have like 7 months on that oil. whereas the sample at 187k was only 2 months.

I took a sample at 182 and 187 and topped it off. The same batch of oil went on to complete its 25,000 miles, without a sample tested at the end. So, the current sample of oil was put in around April or May.

ok, it adds up now.
It leads me to believe that Amsoil is a better oil (at least from your results) even when run for extended periods.
I usually run Mobile1 and change mine every 7500 miles which is about 2X per year for me.
I keep thinking of sending off a sample to have tested but have just never done it.

The first time I used the Mobil1 was when I had all of my off-road parts and I was concerned that there could have been added stress on the engine that could have affected my oil. By trying it a second time, I eliminate the possibility of inaccurate readings.
