It's done it for as long as I have owned it. Factory Bose Stereo, 6 CD changer. On some AM channels, when I step on the brake I get a squealing noise. Then it stops when I get off of the brake pedal... It's just annoying and I'm wondering what might cause and if anyone else has experienced this.

Sounds like a ground issue on the tail light circuit. Thats at least where I would start.

Unscrew the External Radio Whip Antennae and re-tighten it back down (But... Not TOO Snugly, lest the Ferrule Crack). Then Inspect - Check for the presence of a Bonding Strap in between the Hood and the Firewall... and install or replace it with something like the ones found in THESE appropriate examples that I keep on hand for just such necessities:

... or choose this ACDelco OEM version available on Amazon:

It doesn't have LED bulbs does it? My 02 did some 'space' type noise when the interior lights would dim down.
