AC clutch not pulling in.

Yesterday my AC stopped blowing cold. 90 degrees yesterday.
I looked and the compressor is not turning.
I do not notice the click when it starts and stops that it always made.
So I think I need to check if it has voltage at the adjacent wire connector.
Other than that, what could cause this?
Low pressure switch failure, which there are threads on. Where is that switch? I might just jump it and see if the compressor starts.

Definitely check pressure in system, low pressure switch, A/C clutch relay. Two quick tests you can do. First is to pull the low pressure switch connector and short it momentarily while the A/C is on. Compressor should kick in. If not, pull the A/C clutch relay and jump the terminals to make it work. If it still doesn't work, then more checking is in order like wiring, voltages and the clutch itself.

This morning it's working.
My abs and brake light was on yesterday, when this happened. I had a problem with the ABS control module a year ago, replaced it at that time.
So that light is out and the AC works the next day.
I am going to be watching this. Seems like electrical gremlins. Weird.

A common issue with the AC compressor is the field coil getting weak and not pulling clutch in..if wiring checks out that could very well be it... see if when it's hot and the AC quits spray the compressor down with hose and cool it off. See if it kicks back in..
