I'm looking for some ideas for my suburban. Wanting custom bumpers. It has two hooks in front and a hitch in the rear but I would like to get a custom look. Thanks
I appreciate the help. Right now everything is stock. I can take a few pics tomorrow. I'm thinking of going with some bumpers and a new grill. I would like to lower a bit but probably more leveled than lowered. Wheels are in the plans but I would like to start here first.dmanns67 said:Looks like there are a couple options for body kits I came across on carid.com. DuraFlex has a complete body kit with front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, and also offer a hood. Street Scene offers a front bumper, side skirts, and wiper cowl.
Here is a link to the different body kits, hoods, etc. http://www.carid.com/2010-chevy-suburban-body-kits/
You could also mix and match the kits based on which front bumper and side skirts you like. Street Scene wiper cowl looks good as well.
Are you running stock wheels and tires? Is it currently lifted, lowered, or stock? Do you happen to have any pics of your Suburban currently?
Here's another link. Hope this one works because I clicked on the first one and t didn't.dmanns67 said:Good point, I doubt DuraFlex rear bumper will work for you. You could always go with a new front bumper and side skirts. Sorry forgot about the grille, http://www.carid.com/2010-chevy-suburban-grill/
I kinda like the T-Rex- 1-Pc Upper Class Black Mesh Grille, similar to what I have installed on my TB. Gets rid of the bowtie and "window frame" looking grille. There are quite a few other options for grilles. The Fuel brand look interesting depending on how you feel about chrome.
Are your stock wheels 18" or 20"?
The second link works.Joseph Grass said:Here's another link. Hope this one works because I clicked on the first one and t didn't.
