You know you are a gmt owner when everybody on the road is looking for a low flying jet but it's just your seized fan clutch.

When the front disconnect explodes and you can't find one from the aftermarket and GM has stopped producing them, despite the 10 year rule.

When your gauge cluster is more decorative then informative

When you enjoy looking for the next interior light to go out

When you don't want to touch your head unit for fear of more of the black on the buttons coming off

... after 5 years you are still wondering how often the compressor for the air suspension was designed to run. (and you are wondering when it will fail).

When you lay under your truck for hours with a measuring tape and a notepad sketching out your own IFS bracket lift because every aftermarket company says it's impossible to build, but by God, you will prove them wrong.

(Then you twist the splines out of your intermediate shaft, give up, and buy something else to wheel.)

-When you like them so much you buy two.
-When you throw the word dic around and the salesman thinks you mean something different.
-When you know more about them than the stealership
-When you have to defend badge engineering
-When you know the hierarchy amongst the brands
-When the laws of physics stop applying and 6 cylinders are better than 8
-When you can't understand how the same year Acadia is $10,000 more

You know that you're a GMT when you go to the auto parts store and buy stuff for your GMT during your lunch break.

You know you're a GMT owner when...

You spend 5 hours working on truck stuff after your regular job and know you need to do at least that much more the next day, but still feel like it has been a good day.

Depending on where you live, you know you are a GMT owner when it takes $25-30 to get you from empty to a 1/4 tank.. Not complaining, I love my truck.

When in response to someone asking you why you park in the back of the lot so far from all the other cars, you lie and tell them it was your New Year's resolution to exercise more.
When you keep pre-cut 3M film on stand-by on a dispensor in the garage.
When you wonder why all cars don't come with a v8 as standard equipment.
When replacing a headlight you curse GM engineers for the need to remove the grill but thank SAAB for correcting that.

Time to revive this thread and get some new ones...

You know you're a GMT owner when you lay awake at night, unable to sleep, wondering if you'll be able to get your spare down the next time you get a flat. But then remember that you disabled that damn secondary lock the last time it was stuck :rotfl:

There's this company called NetHubs where you can have two of them signed out at a time, and when you turn one in, they send you a new one. They just raised their prices, though, so I may go to downloadable hubs. Or just clone them using HubTorrent.

It might just be cheaper for you to get one of those 3d printers and go about it that way..

-182,000 miles and you've replace all of your suspension components.

You know your a GMT360 owner;

When you hear/smell an exhaust leak to be the manifold and not something easy.

When you can't figure out the cause of a misfire by changing plugs and coils to plan on a new head replacement.

When you know a stepper motor isn't a form of exercise equipment.

You know you're a GMT owner when you look at other 360 platforms to see how mis-aligned their front end body panels are.

Your oil pressure gauge lies to you more than the stealership you bought it from.

when you bought the car because you absolutely loved the way it drives, and cry every time you need to fix it because you love the way it drives...
