2004 ENVOY XUV 5.3L SLT developed water leaks in various locations.
1) water streaming down from soaking wet headliner at top of side a-pillars above piller trim.
* Problem: blocked sun-roof drain, at front corners, vertical plastic piece in front of holes leading to hoses in pillars exiting body at 90° angle inside door jam just above the electrical connector.
! Used solid 12 guage electrical wire to 'snake' tubing, inserted windshield wiper tubing about 1' into drain holes, then used mattress/tire inflator at 35 psi to blast 'gunk' out hoses in door jams.
2) water dripping/streaming from bottom of center console at windshield... E.g. Homelink, sunroof, midgate glass, endgate glass, and retractable roof switch panel.
* Haven't been able to find leak source!
suspect windshield gasket.
3) water dripping from driver (rarely) and passenger (almost always) side interior roof trim at midgate.
> Endgate & roof inop - dead BCM?
* suspect roof drains blocked, but can't seem to get at them to ream/blast.
-- diagram would be most helpful!
And... I'm in South Florida... where it rains almost daily... often torrentially!

Any ideas/help greatly appreciated & urgently needed! Thanks.

I had that one on my EXT. I think that wound up being a combination of a bad gasket and plugged drain tubes.

Not had any of these problems on my 04 XUV.

Heard of #1, sunroof drains
Heard of #2, either bad windshield seal job, or water overflowing from your sunroof drains being clogged
Heard of #3, rear sunroof drains

Best way to do all your repairs... SUCKS ASS!

Lower your headliner, and pull it out thru your midgate
Remove sunroof, and clean drains. I seem to remember this is the only way to get to the rear drains.
