The rear wiper motor on my Envoy XUV needs to be replaced and I can't figure out how to get the old motor out. I have replaced the electronic switches and window regulator but the wiper motor is extremely difficult to access. If anyone has experience with this repair, please let me know.

Should be very easy after removing the panel. 3 bolts, unplug it, and the plastic shaft nut should do it.

Yup, I had to replace the rear wiper motor on my 2008. Remove wiper arm. Remove the plastic panel, disconnect the harness and remove the 3 bolts holding the motor.

Hardest part for me was getting the rear wiper arm off. That thing was really on there. I ended up having to use a faucet handle puller from home depot.

Not hard, just take your time. I think the motor was like $120 bucks or so.

good luck!
