I drive a 2005 Trailblazer LS 4x4

15" x 8", 6 x 5.5" Bolt Pattern, 3.75" Backspacing

Summit Racing is having a great sale on these, and it's the wheel I've always wanted to put on the T-Blaze.

no those wheels will not fit. our trucks have a bolt pattern of 6 x 5.0" not 5.5" also calipers are too big for 15" need 16" minimum.

You might get the 3.75 inch backspacing to work. 3.5 is safer and requires 1.5 inch adaptors to clear.

I have a thread on the reseach and testing I did for 15 inch wheels.

15" rims without proper backspacing and adapters will not fit, but I dont know of anyone that makes 15" rims with our bolt pattern so you'd have to run a spacer/adapter anyway.

I knew I would have to run adapters, I just don't know anything about backspacing or anything, so I asked the experts! Haha.


Who sells adapters that would work? Also, will I need a spacer kit to lift it a little?

The liftmeister (markmc) sells spacers.

You don't need a lift to change the tire->upper ball joint relationship. Actually, a lift cannot change that relationship.

You do need a lift if you're fitting bigger tires and are hitting the fender or wheel well liner and want that to stop. Or need more ground clearance.

Alright, great! How can I figure out what size tire is best for this configuration? I want something with a mildly aggressive tread, nothing crazy!
