Which water pump gasket

The gasket that came with my pump from Autozone has the rubber surround. Has anyone had any failures with this one or should I go with the steel OEM?

No 100% sure but on Amazon there are reviews that state you should get the original (from factory) gasket. I believe it's the steel one. It is better. Did you get an ACDelco water pump?

No I caved since there are good reviews on this one. Has the stamped steel impeller and I needed it that day. However I put off the swap so it's a moot point now. I figure there's a reason GM went with a steel gasket.

No sense chancing it, the dealer has one so I will go with the steel.
