We have a 2002 TB LT that I'm getting sick of fixing. My son recently fishtailed into a tree and it pushed in the B-pillar and lower rocker so that the doors don't open on the passenger side. It didn't go into the frame rail.

So I've been driving it around to make sure it's road worthy. It's good. We've since then refurb'd the rear diff and rear brake pads while it was open. Problem is, I don't want spend big bucks for the b-pillar frame pull and replacement doors. So I'm trying to decide on a part-out vs. selling the whole car.

So what's the value of the engine? It was replaced by the dealer at 62K miles. The ODO shows total of 156K miles now.

Couple hundred bucks with the near 100K mile mark right in the near future.

I paid $650 for one with 140k Km (87k miles) in 2011.

A good place to check out prices is car-part.com.

The parts I've been selling on craigslist are; Transmissions, headlights, tail lights, front bumper, front seats, dash cluster, running boards, wheels, rear hatch, front diff & disconnect, and other small parts. The motors sell for between $200 and $800, more if low miles or warranty. There's a limited market because most repair shops will charge about 18 hours + to R & R a motor, or more than most 15 year old 360's are worth. ~BOB

I bought my 2005 4.2 with 83k genuine miles with a 1 year warranty for $500 in April of 2015. I still have a slew of the parts leftover from it, too.
