What is this sensor for??

And what does it monitor?
Ever since I put those new injectors in I’m still trying to hunt down why I keep getting codes for running to lean & idoling at almost 1k & was wondering what this sensor monitors just Incase this has something to do with it. Thanks

IAT (intake air temp) monitors the air temp going into the motor. If yours is pre MAF then it plays a part in the computers tuning. Computer will watch MAP and IAT to adjust. Think it's called speed density tuning?

Your idling rpm jumps to ~1K because of the lean DTC set. I've seen that you've done lots of work to your truck so far. Double check your torque at the intake manifold. Spray brake/throttle body cleaner around the booster & intake. The document gets more technical.
