Painted overflow tank gloss black, that thing is an eye sore just like the washer tank, blends in beautifully now

Swapped my exhaust manifold out for an 09 manifold, decided to remove the cat while I was at it. Got to say, not the most favorite job that I've done to my envoy. I'm very happy with the results after taking it for a drive afterwards though . Ordered a tuned pcm, so hopefully I'll get it and install some time in the next week, but already noticed a lil better milage and get up, but the cat was also a bit clogged, so I'm sure that had some effect also.

Not today, but last Friday, got TB a new steering rack, inners/outers and a front right hub. It had the WORST sound while driving.

Wish I had done this all sooner. next up, saving for new HD Bilsteins.

Yes, that looks terrible, I don't know how you can drive that thing. You should take off that front bumper, give it to me, and start over. And for crying out loud, make it look right this time!!!!

Daily drove it

Went to the bank, where as soon as I roll up to the drive thu the teller gets on the mic and is like "Ryan I'm mad at you.." I reply with "uhhh why?" He says "because you cut my buddy off over the weekend" I reply apologizing and he said it was all good...I really didn't cut him off iirc. Then another teller gets on the mic and she asks if I worked at Zios. I'm like yea why? She's like oh no reason just saw your car outside the resteraunt.
Didn't realize that my truck was so recognizable.

I also ran by Safeway since I was thursty. Parked next to this thing.

I actually hang mine from the rear driver side assist handle (loop through). That way I get the benefit of it without having to see it.

At least he uses the best scent - Vanillaroma!

Says the guy who bought enough Little Trees they sent him a free hat :weird:

Nice to not hit your head on the hatch isn't it? Amazing how heavy that hatch is when those struts go bad. I had one blow out on me and it fell on my head. It was just a glancing blow as I was in the process of opening the hatch but still... Ouch.

Hell yea the hatch is heavy. It got me when i was changing the lift supports last year. Used a cheap metal broom with a dent in the handle to hold the hatch up. As soon as i popped the rusted lift support off the broom bent where the dent was and it got hit in the head and lower back. The rusted one was not the bad one either. It was the one that was nice and shiny on the other side. Put ole rusty up in the loft for a spare.

Now it takes some effort to close the hatch. My niece can not close it at all. She can do pull ups on it.

What are you sitting at ground to fender lip and how tall are you? Lol. I'm 5'10" and I'm sitting at 30.5" in all 4 corners. If I'm not thinking I bash my head every time

28? Impressive. Never seen one of these get under 29. Whether it's awd, 4wd, or 2wd. I'm low enough and I'm already smacking control arms and rubbing especially when I launch at the track when she squats. Damn air bags lol.

Thank ya, Yeah apparently nobody else has gotten as low as mine minus bagged guys [emoji6]. My control arms smack only if I happen to hit a hard bump, but that rarely happens. And believe it not I wanna go .5"-1" lower.....lol, but then I'll need some of dem der fancy custom control arms they have on TBSSowners

And stiffer springs somehow to avoid bottoming out.

So wait... you don't have modified uca's being that low? I see you like living dangerously. I have the modified uca's and I still smack and rub. None of the SS guys go below 29 due to hub/rubbing/and bottoming out issues. Especially the awd guys

Your Ball joint angle must be extreme without the arms.

6'1" here at 31" all around. I have to duck. Lol

Capote. Can you get us a pic of your ball joint at that low. I saw a truck at 30 on stock arms and it was scary.

Nope, no modified UCA's, that is coming after I get back from Germany. I've had this set up for a long time now. Even drove to NY and back once, that's over 2000 miles. She drove like a champ on that trip and that was shortly after lowering her.

As requested Kyle, god that was a tight squeeze

uploadfromtaptalk1443034544623.jpg
I've honestly never had issues though guys. Only smacked my UCA's maybe 4 or 5 times ever? I am cautious of road conditions and hell I avoided one road an entire year because of road construction. That was the 2nd time I smacked my UCA's HARD!. I got scared and never went that route again to get on post.
Brandon has always given my ball joints a look when I go and see him. I trust his opinions and he hasn't been alarmed. But like I said I'll be getting custom UCA's anyway when I get back.

Anything lower than stock without the arms is scary... I would not chance it for minute. I'd like to see a pic too

Edit for adding a pic...

Here's mine. Huge difference in ball joint angles. I feel bad for yours...
