I forgot to look for oem. But Amazon does have some parts cheaper. I was looking at the acdelco bcm, way cheaper on Amazon compared to rock auto and the like

Also check amazon.

Amazon.com: DEA A5137 Front Left and Right Motor Mount: Automotive

They have alot of things cheaper even than rockauto (especially electrical items)

ebay has a set of DEA mounts, cheaper than Amazon

Yea i just looked around and Rockauto was the cheapest for the motor mounts(depending on the shipping costs). I'm gunna have to pick up a set soon if I ever get my truck running again.

What is the OEM brand for the motor mounts?

cleaned the throttle body, but i broke a hose or some sort. I made a new one and theres no leaks, but cant find the part number for a new one. It has a 90 degree angle connection that goes into the intake manifold, and its between the resonator box.

I'm not sure what I did to my GMT today, but I was driving down the highway at 65mph, passing a semi. I heard a few bangs and a couple of pops, continued to pass the semi, then eventually stopped on the shoulder. I got out, looked around, and found nothing to be out of the ordinary. I thought I would continue on my way and got back inside. I had problems closing the door. As it turns out, the hinge nearly broke off the frame. I knew the door had problems since I bought it, but I seen no reason to fix it. I wasn't expecting so much, so fast.

I did that mod already on my Driver's side mirror! The tools I used for my mod were a freak summer thunderstorm with heavy winds and one very large tree limb that only got the mirror on my Voy. I say only because Dad's 06 crew cab Silverado was right beside it, and the limb crushed the left rear bedside, the entire top of the cab, ruined the soft trifold tonneau cover, and bent the top downward on the right rear door, which was open about two inches when the limb fell. Why was it open, you ask? That would be because we were all in it and I was about to get out of the right rear and get into my Envoy. Another half second and instead of smashing the door, it would've smashed my head.

So in answer to the question, due to my experiences with this particular mirror mod, I can't say I'm a fan...

Me neither. Car wash got it. They are fixing it though, so I'm not concerned. I will have to redo my led inserts though

That sucks man. When I take mine to the roll-through, they always manually fold my mirrors in and tape them. Since my driver's side on wobbles a bit at the hinge, I'm glad they do that.

Cursed at it! Well not at her specially. I hate paying for extra shipping so it comes faster and it reaches later Than you need it. I should have just ordered brake motive rotors and pads for what I paid. Shit!

I really am about to. I'm going to message the customer service first, then file a dispute if they say it isn't there problem. Problem is my cars daily driven and these new brake pads are needed

If it makes you feel any better, back when I ordered my rotors from R1Concepts through their ebay store, it took them 3 weeks to ship them about 200 miles...2 weeks waiting, made contact and were received.... crummy customer service everywhere...

Not my GMT, but I brought my fathers 2001 Silverado 2 wheel drive into work yesterday to install new window lift motors and a new drivers side mirror. I noticed it was kinda low on the drivers side and upon further investigation I found the leaf spring had punched its way through the bed. He had no idea, but I'm sure that's because ever since my mother passed away he has not really taken care if things as he should. Lucky for him I don't mind throwing a little money at his truck once in a while. He's on a fixed income and can't afford even minor repairs... That and my irresponsible little sister, her son and her HUSBAND are bleeding him dry, but I digress, the truck is back together and much better than before. Everything done today are..

Driver side rear shackle
Driver and passenger side window lift motor
Driver side mirror
Blend door actuator
Blower motor resistor pack
Cabin air filters
And finally new front door speakers

Not my cup of tea, but will you be doing a full write up with pictures for this mod?

And someone beat me to it. I was going to comment about Land Rover's camera and display technology.

Will you be able to get the LEDs out of the old mirror at least?

Cannot get the leds from the old glass, it fell out inside the wash and I didn't get it back. They are cheap though do I'm not overly concerned.

Another mod I don't think I want to do.

Sorry to hear. Always sucks when crap like that happens.

OK - so I had added the rear bumper protector a week or two ago. As I've noted before, I know this isn't going to protect me from a solid rear end collision, but it'll protect the bumper and gate from those people who can't parallel park, from when I want to put it as close to the cement barrier as I can, and other slow, stupid stuff. It's also a step and it helps to reach the roof when cleaning.

I believe it has 4 sets of hitch pin holes. I've got it installed on the 2nd closest. The closest is ok, but this gives me a little more protection to the bumper.

I was debating whether to 'dip it, but I figure I want people to see it and avoid it. If/when it gets really scratched up, etc, then I'll plastidip it.

Slow down for speed bumps and pot holes homie!!

Wasn't a speed bump or pot hole  it was the freshly laid down hockey arena mod done on the streets by mother nature which introduced that corner to the curb....

Agreed....and it looks like the damage is worse then I initially thought...looking less like a bent control arm and more like a bent strut and the piece that connects the strut to the control arm....oh well looking more like an excuse to add a lift kit lol
