oh the fun things you can do with your intercooler and fun cold air intake designs when you don't have to deal with winter driving....road salt would be all over that intercooler like white on rice...and it would quickly turn into a summer car.

I know =[ our winters SUCK here...I wish i could drive it all year round still

Went to change out my front brakes and it looks like they were done at some point. They will definitely get through inspection this year. Can't remember when in the past they were changed, I haven't been too good at logging work done. I'll make sure there is oil on the slightly rusted rotor and save them and the pads away for next year.

New tires are wheels are on.

Sparky I will have to add that to the list then. Im chasing a leak in my rear passenger side door now. Noticed it when I replaced the speakers. Nothing severe.

Replaced the left axle seal

I need to do this, looks like most everything is intact. What did you need to remove besides the wheel to get the axle out?

Ordered all four drive information controls for my steering wheel as all of the lights have now burnt out. Amazon packaged three controls in one shipment and one in another.

Good ol Amazon got three of the four correct. The single shipment came in today and I was expecting to see the fuel/road information switch, but found a roll of athletic tape :hissyfit:

Not sure how this happened as these items could not be further apart. I guess whoever ordered the athletic tape will find a nice surprise when they see their brand new driver information button

Amazon, will almost always admit when they f up. One thing i like about them. Also Prime members get some cool benefits, and they will bend over back wards to get your stuff to you in 2 days.

:iagree:

I have been ordering from Amazon for years and this is the first real issue that I have had with them. The items were sold and shipped by Amazon, so I am sure the issue will be rectified quickly.

Hope that 1100 covered the lube from the rape you endured at that price.

Nope. Things are pretty raw. I can't wait to see what the cost for parts was. I should bring a print out of the costs for AC Delco parts from RockAuto with me to negotiate.

Crossed over 185k miles.

Also finally got annoyed at the rattle in the rear enough to crawl under it and check it out. Yup, end links are shot, the balls are loose in the sockets. Interestingly enough the fronts are actually looser than the rears but they've not made much noise.

So... Moog again (easier to install), OEM (the originals lasted longer), or another brand? :undecided:

Found 2 spots I'm rubbing, going to correct the problem tomorrow. The front inner gender liner near the bottom of the bumper, and the rocker panel cover. However it seems I am rubbing the bolt, and only in reverse. Going to look at some options. Other than that they ride smooth and grip like glue.

Shrek have you considered taping off the circle in the center and painting the rest of center cap. I always wanted to paint the sides of the spokes and leave the front polished, as well as paint the corresponding area on the center cap.

So all this talk of cold air intakes I was brainstorming and picked up this used intake set, everything up to the TB including the IAT sensor...all for $25 so not much hurt to the wallet. I only used the flexible intake tube and cut the part that sits under the filter cover. Then I just attached both tubes together and pulled both air filter change indicators and used those ports for the PCV and the FPR.

This is by no means permanent but just a trial run, the tubes aren't smooth but they are far more smooth than the catacomb of the intake resonator just before the TB butterfly...which surely disrupts the airflow. I can say on the trip home from work...after a little PCM adjustments, the response is smoother and not as many "dead spots" when you lightly press on the gas.

Of course when you get on I there's that bellow.... and I think I may need to slap a couple Injen stickers on my fenders.

Black wheels definitely fits your Voy better. Did you use DipliColor?

Yup, duplicolor black gloss caliper paint and gloss clear caliper paint (guaranteed to not chip, flake, crack etc.)
The wheel paint and caliper paint are the same but wheel paint has metallic flakes in it
