Jealous I am of that. Want to upgrade the 3rd brake light on mine, but none is available for the XUV :sadcry:

They are the same. I looked up Avalanche 3rd brake light and used that on my EXT,

Oh wait, XUV. That funky truck. Yeah, might not work.

Like I mentioned in "What are you doing today?", picked up 3 parcels in Og, a gas tank for a generator I'm fixing up, a shifter for the Caprice and a filter for my lawn tractor.

Couple of new D2S ballasts, as one of my old TRS ballasts died on me yesterday.

A deep tranny pan, filter and gasket. Total $73USD including shipping. Not bad. Funny thing is the filter is more expensive than the pan!

Got a set of test leads for my meter, since sometimes the standard probes aren't right for the job. Came with a tweezer style set of probes for SMD work, standard set, retractable hook set, alligator clip attachments (which is what I really wanted), and some deep reach insulated attachments, which connect to the standard set. Also got a quick charge dual USB outlet that I'll install in the living room next to the couch, and take the existing USB charging outlet and put it in my bedroom.

Also got an LED, dual brightness, rechargeable, under hood work light. Fiddling with my small fluorescent light in the engine bay with no convenient places to hook it to, or doing stuff in the radio stack and having shadows in the way, will be a distant memory.

20190518_184551.jpg

Comes with 2 light units with a hook on the end, that attach to a spring loaded frame. They can be rotated, or detached completely. A second set of hooks is provided to hang them horizontally, individually if you need/want to.

Due to the USB connections in the end, I don't think this will be a setup that's easily used while being plugged in.

Foldable frame may come in handy for floor based/underside work.

That is right there is gonna be the reason for not getting frustrated and finishing something the next day there’s been so many times I have resorted to drinking a beer and calling it quits because of the sun going down

It was Christmas today for the Voy and the TBSS.
20190531_135702.jpg
All the rebuild parts for the front and rear brakes that are getting powder coated for the SS. Also a full set of tpms for the wheels that are also getting coated next week.
20190531_135349.jpg
For the Voy a set of front hubs, inner and outer tie rod ends and the boots. Have to contact them since I'm not seeing the straps for the boots in the box or packaging although it was in the description when purchasing.

Lastly POR15 for the 4.10 rear axle I'm trying to get to sometime this yr. Lol.

Oh! and of course, for @northcreek I added a 10pack of 4.7mm led bulbs to that order just for kicks. :2thumbsup:

Nothing crazy but excited to get some new blades for my 42" riding mower. Sure made life easier to cut a few acres of grass and other random crap I like to run over.

Also got some new board games for my wife. Got another Catan extension, Explorers and Pirates.

We hit the store for snacks and some more beer and other random booze for a game night.

Actually two days ago, received a new pair of Bates ankle boots and a 50' WiFi borescope to scope a couple of drains that have been giving me grief lately. Cheaper than getting a plumber to do it.

Diff cover, bolts and gasket for the TBSS. I've got to get in there to do the axle end seals since they are bleeding, I noticed it when I was doing the rotors and pads a few weeks back.20190624_185224.jpg
I have to get it over to my brothers shop so he can powder coat it before we install.

Rear diff axle seals.20190626_180842.jpg
Also picked up a set of the axle c clips just in case needed.

Last but not least a pair of William Painter shades (model- Level, color- blue). A friend talked me into them and man are they nice and solid.

Not in the mail but I did score a set 20" tbss wheels I'll be refinishing for the Voy. 20190705_092849.jpg
I'm going to have my brother soak them in some b17 stripper, wash them off and get to sanding and polishing them myself. Its a lot of work but worth it in the final result.Or should I just get them powder coated? Color? I think polished is what the wife would like more. I've also got to start shopping around for a nice set of 275/45r20 tires for these.

The 18s are going to get new snow/winter tires and will be dedicated to winter wheels.
