Working for da man

Chillin with my dude today. Gonna replace the spark plugs when he takes a nap. Heading over to my dads to celebrate his birfday. Having some ribs tonight. Mmmm. Gonna eat like I'm in prison that's for sure.

Might try again to pick up the Rat rod tonight...otherwise waiting till Friday

Called in because I got next to no sleep due to shoulder pain. I went to the docs, Looks like I have a few appointments to get taken care of now.

Had to run errands, my brother got his Cobalt back today, new engine, radiator and cooling fan assembly, and I went with him to drop off his rental after getting it back. Hit the gym this afternoon, feeling okay unless I try to move. I need to get back to working!

Ordered sensor for DD

Working later.

Off to setup and save a camp site for my troop camping this weekend.

Doing what I usually do. Working 16 hours between both jobs today. Good thing is I'm off the whole wknd from both jobs!

Getting ready for the weekend with some craft brews!

Worked all day in welding class, had our first annual industrial day. Had 20 or so 8th graders from three of the surrounding schools there and each of us enrolled in the class got assigned a kid to teach.

Was a few different companies there checking things out. This guy just finished building a 2015 3500HD welding rig. He'd never welded with the Lincoln Vantage 400 on it and it only had six tenths of an hour on it....it had 4 hours by the time he left. Said he had about 300 man hours into building the rig.

Compounded the deck of the boat.... and again tomorrow. Twice is nice.

I think I have a shot this spring, worst case what doesn't make it I can overseed in the fall.

What is that a seeder? What does it do?

I'm going to rake the lawn and clean up around the outside of the house. Maybe get the rims changed over on the Voy.

I'm being a lazy bum right now but I may see about getting mowers ready. The house I bought in November came with a riding mower but I have no idea what condition it is in.

Worked earlier and heading to my uncles 50th surprise party. Might have a few barley pops as well. Bought some stuff to clean the rig. Clay bar, polish, microfiber towels. Have some wax already. Gotta get her looking purrty for the summer. Prolly gonna work on that tomorrow.

Big shopping trip to Lowes this morning picking up a new mail box, Bosch cordless drill, can lights for the mancave and a load of other stuff. Smoking lamb breast on the UDS and starting to make my grow buckets for my veggies.

Some 90s era Ranch King (MTD) with a 12.5HP Briggs and a 42" deck. No idea if the blades are any good yet. Needs an oil change and a new spark plug.

It looks basically like this one

Yeah it has about 10 tines underneath behind the seed hopper, so when the seed drops, it cuts slits in the soil and some of the seed will fall about 1/2" into the ground for better soil contact, chews up the ground a little and just overall more penetration and soil contact.

For free, you can't argue. A bit of elbow grease and it should serve you well.

Apparently, my company is sending me a message... :ugh: I texted the admin assistant last night to make sure my desk was good to go, since all it was missing on Thursday when I went in was all the necessary wiring. She said anyone who didn't have their wiring finalized, was running off extension chords so they could work. OK...

Come in to work, no power. Phone is sitting on the corner of my desk, my CAT5 cables are rolled up in the same place I put them on Thursday. :hopeless:

The main light over my desk has blown tubes in it, normally a minor inconvenience, but piled on top of the other stuff makes it a little worse.

I poked around some of the other desks that were setup, and while they didn't have their wiring tucked into the frames of the cube walls, they had heavy duty extension chords running from the ceiling column drops or junction boxes. Me? Only wiring I had was these... :hissyfit:

Texted the last pic to the admin assistant, as I was getting back in the TB to come back home. I'm not gonna pretend to work today. F that.
