Looking at it, Its pretty neat but if I had it in a garage I would wonder why I buy cars under the influence

I'm dying to see how the bottom of a "sawed-in-half" liftgate works. :rotfl:

It is here in Vegas, I saw it once in passing. I may have to ask around to see if it is ever at any of the local car shows.

It looks like the tailgate is welded in.

Without roof rollover protection, I think it's safe only for use in parades at 2 MPH.

Not really different that other convertibles which are not regulated to parade only.

A simple Jeep style cage would be easy without the roof and would help to create a soft top for it.

Thanks for the reminder. I should have searched first. I assumed convertibles were covered by a regulation for at least strong windshield pillars. Seems they aren't. The high-end vehicles with pop-up roll bars are doing it because they can, not because they're forced to by the Feds.

Yep. You would think there was some requirement. Seems driving or riding in a droptop means you are at your own risk.

I would rock it, but it would have to be a different color. Gotta lower it, throw on some bigger rims and the most ridiculous sound system that you could fit in it, and of course... L E Ds!!!!!!

I've recently wondered what a TrailVoy might look like as a sedan.

This thing always seem to show up every couple months or so.

I would rock the hell out of that! Bag it and throw some big billet rims on it, give it a new coat of paint and some custom hot-rod theamed interior:salivate:
