vinyl hood stripes?

Morning all.

Has anyone used vinyl stripes, particularly from motor city vinyl? My hood has some blemishes that likely would require a repaint to correct, but I was thinking of going with something like the below in lieu of painting, plus it would be fun to switch up the look: I am thinking my black TB with silver hood stripes would be the bee's knees.

Any idea why they say 05+ SS specifically? I was under the impression my 05 LT had the same hood as the SS.

You can try Platidip ing them first to see if you like them, I tried didn't like the look of the hood stripes but did keep the fender stripes

Hoods are the same. I think the reason they say 05+ SS is because they cater more to the SS crowd.

Your correct bro we have the same hood as the SS. I agree with Canary plasti the hood first to see if you'd like it before forking out the $80 but u def don't have to worry about quality from mcv. Great peeps Great service

I'd go t he Plasti-Dip route before forking out the cash for sure...
Just make sure that you properly tape everything off first...
