So I was cruising a parking lot today looking for a spot and I found one that I liked.

For some reason this scored me some strange, not so nice looks from some old women within the parking lot.

So I'm asking you to post some pictures of your unique parking jobs.

i usually park in BFE when i do have my truck out... but on the days that i see lots are full, or work is full, i just do the typical thing of taking up two spots...

Speaking of parking... How about the people that pull their vehicle through to the spot in front of them. So then, when they pull out, they are going the wrong way, in a directional parking lot. Think Wal-Mart. This annoys the living ba-jesus out of me. I actually got in a stand off with someone who was pulling out, when I was trying to go the right way. Sat there, for what felt like forever, until they finally backed up, 3/4 of the way down the aisle, till they could turn around. They were pissed! I just smiled, and they peeled off.:wootwoot:

Out of jealousy I'm sure...

As if your Envoy would hurt that poor little curb. People just don't get it.

Right. I'm all for it if you can go the correct way down the rows but don't get in my way when I'm doing the right thing.

Did you just paint the wheel inserts? I thought about doing that to mine but never got around to it. They look good.

I considered Plasti Dipping the whole wheel but was on the fence because I like the alloy look too. This might be a better alternative. Do you remember how many cans it took to do it?

See this thread was useful today, thanks.

On topic, it's nice to see that I'm not the only one that parks unusually. Keep 'em coming

Do you need a pic because you don't remember. LOL

I can park the TB like a BOSS....but I have been known to park in some awkward fashions with the Envoy. After all driving Phantom is like driving a boat compared to the shorter wheel base models. I feel like i'm in a sports coupe when driving the hubby's new TB lol

How long did the tow truck take?

I don't have a pic, but. When I was a kid my dad had a 96 z71 silverado and when we went to mcdonalds there were 4 parking spots in the front. 2 on one side divided by a sidewalk and 2 on the other side. My dad would pull in and drive up over the sidewalk and take up all 4 parking spots. He said that we had vip parking!!!:rotfl:

You should have seen the sand I was driving through. These AWD SS's would probably surprise you.

I know it works well. Just dont ever see you taking it off pavement. Hell at the michigan meet we couldnt get you to drive on the grass...

Edit: not michigan what ever the one before that one was.

Heh, next time I park funny I should take a pic. There is this one parking spot that is "mine" that also tends to get snow shoved into it when the plow goes by, and I park there anyway.

I'm usually wearing work boots, so if I can park in a big puddle (rain storm, melting snow) I'll do it. No one parks near me, so no shopping cart, or parking lot dings.

Very true. It gives you a "don't screw with me, I'm a little off" kind of vibe too.

I like it

We are generally very good at following the law at Meets. But you can't have a guy installing Nerf bars laying on gravel! (Local men in blue disagreed)

Some sweet talk and all was good!

Are you talking about Indy or Ft Wayne? I don't remember anyone driving in the grass at either. And even though I won't take it "off-roading", I'm not afraid to get it dirty.

Sure, if you want to compare apples to oranges. I challenge you to find a picture of a dirtier TBSS than that.

Or leaving the cave, as the case was.

I dont believe there would be a dirtier TBss. So ya got me there, while it's still not a dirty TB it is a dirty TBss. I still think some mud tires and alot if skinny petal would produce a much dirtier TBss, and why is it the ss folks seem timid about going out and puttin those ponies to use in some dirt? After all it would kick some serious a$$.

I think its cause most don't want to mess up their pretty rims, or scratch their paint job.:raspberry:
