don't have them on my TB, but I have them on my civic years ago. There's not really a simple answer to your question, it sort of depends on a few things.
Most people (that I've seen) only want to see the glow on the ground, as opposed to seeing the actual source of the light as well. I have come across a few cars/trucks that had them mounted where you can see the kits themselves. As long as you are careful to mount them away from any moving parts that would cause you issues, and secure the wires away from moving parts/heat sources, you'll be ok pretty much anywhere. I would say double check your front bar to make sure you don't "park it" like I did on my civic oh so many times (it gets expensive after a while :hissyfit:) but your TB isn't low enough to concern yourself with that.

I'm partial to zipties for things like this, but self-drilling screws are an option as well, I guess. As long as you quadruple check exactly what your putting them into. When it comes to putting holes into things on my TB, it's more like measure ten times, cut once :raspberry:

I have em on my envoy. Can't see The bulbs of course. Pretty much was the Guy posted above me if all the advice that can be given...zip ties are the best way IMO.

I was told I can use tapping screws and screw it to the floorboard but if I go with the zip ties should I ties should I tie it to the frame and will the zip ties withstand the weather

zipties are stronger that most think. just don't use those tiny ones lol
I'm just not a fan of the screws myself, if I have another option, just threw it out there because everyone has their own way of doing things.
If I were putting them on mine, I would get a pack of decent size ties and probably use the frame, though eutechnyx may have a better insight on where he mounted his, as our trucks are virtually identical.

I made brackets for the sides, the front one is screwed into the plastic with self tapping screws and the back one is zip tied to the trailer hitch.

damn, looks like underglow is not dead . The underglow makes them look a hundred times better.
But it makes me more and more anxious toput my underglow on but with the snow and waiting on my buddy to get me the rest of the kit makes it hard. The wait is killing me

Roads are nasty right now. So please excuse the mess. lol. This is one of my brackets. I have two on each bulb on the sides. It's just thin pieces of metal with a slight bend in them to bring the bulb up behind the rockers. I used the two bolts that were already there holding the plastic pieces on to bolt them to the body. If you need anymore pics let me know.

Thanks man I appreciate it. I think the red looks great on yours too!

Thanks! That wasn't me, but I do like the green. I had green on a turquoise colored 95 blazer that I use to have.
