Hey guys. I'm trying to replace my UCA'S and I'm stuck on the first one (passenger side). I got the old one off but now I'm running into issues with the new one. I can not for the life of me get the new upper control arm in. Does anyone have any tricks? I'm so frustrated once again at this truck.
Thank you
Ryan

Ok relax, look a couple of things here,

Is the new part exactly the same as the old(is it the correct part)?
Did you remove all hardware, bolts washers etc.?
Are you replacing both left and right?
Are you placing the correct side in?

I know this sounds silly but when your frustrated we do not think straight.

I believe rubber bushings are supposed to be compressed once installed. At least that's how they appear on most of the parts on the vehicle visually...

Belive me when I say, I had a hell of a time with this one side. My neighbor who's retired, and works on cars stopped by after hearing me going crazy with the wapper (hammer). He tried and had no luck. We ended up using the OEM bottle Jack to push the bushings back. It ended up working the 3rd round we were at it.
