Found a couple videos on YouTube relating to the 4L60-E transmission gracing (or maybe disgracing based on your opinion) 4.2 and 5.3-equipped rides. In the teardown, it's specifically mentioned that the transmission is off a C-Body, and is a 2006 model. There may be some discrepancies between the transmission here and the actuality of what you find under your vehicle, and I would welcome someone with more experience than myself to come and point them out to keep the information presented as accurate as possible.
In the videos (and in the description for the teardown), the mechanic lists some common failure points on the transmission, which I found to be a big help for potential troubleshooting, and also seems to go over tools required and what you should replace, which is a big bonus. If anyone can provide part numbers, that'd be awesome.
Also for the people who are just curious, total running time on these is over 2 hours, so grab a coffee beforehand!

Anyone who finds any mistakes in these videos, COMMENT!!! I did not make these videos, so I can't correct the video itself but we can maintain a straight record here in the thread.
