Transmission leaking

This issue started back in May on my way back from the Michigan meet. After arriving back home I noticed the underside of the truck was wet and traced it back to the trans dipstick not being fully in place. I added some fluid and made sure dipstick was secured, problem solved. Few weeks later I noticed a wet underside again. This time traced it back to the vent hose. I figured I just added to much fluid. Well today it was wet again. Any ideas what would cause the trans to leak through the vent hose? Driving conditions are normal, no towing or racing, just hot outside.
