Transmission filter kit - deep or shallow pan ?

I have a 2003 gmc envoy5.3l v8 SLT 4x4 and was wondering if how would I know if I have a deep or shallow pan? I need to replace the trans filter and doesn't want to guess.

Never seen a shallow pan on this platform. If you do a simple google image search then take a peek at your pan you will be able to tell

As mentioned, high likelyhood of the deep pan. The shallow pan is just flat. The deep pan has a step in it towards the back, and a round inset bump towards the front.

Why did they bother with two different pans? The difference in capacity is what, like 1 quart?

Confirmed it's a deep pan with a drain plug!

There are loose bolts in there (turning by hand loosens them) that's why it's leaking and low on fluid (1.5 quarts low)

I think drain plug means aftermarket pan
