I thought bras were mostly discouraged nowadays for trapping contaminants and causing paint damage from rubbing vibrations. But what would *I* know? :rotfl:

Good choice but information mine for like $75. The only thing you'd have to do is make sure u take it off when raining otherwise there can be damage to the paint from the sun drying it while on vehicle. I have no damage done to mine I would post pics but they were on ky phone which was damaged last week.

Tried to dig up pics but no success. It's really not a pita, just takes me a minute and done + they really keep the front end protected from bugs small rocks etc.

I had a LeBra on my 02 Stratus for 3+ years. Never took it off but to wash/wax under it a few times a year. There are some that are designed to breathe and let the water blow out from under them. Didn't have any extra scratches under the bra. I had the Stratus when I lived in Anchorage, AK and it was on all year

I have the GM Accessories Front End Cover and a Lund bug deflector. The GM bras fit alot better than the LeBra ones. I got them both back in 2003 when I got my 03 TB. I moved them to my 07 TB. I install the bra in April and remove it in November each year. I have never had any damage from it due to rain, dirt, etc. I leave the bug deflector on all the time. I also have a GM Accessories Front End Cover on my black 07 Grand Prix. Never had any damage from the bra on it either. The bras save the front end from alot of debris damage and bug guts wash right off of them.

i agree with the roadie... any vehicle that i have seen with the bra on them have all had paint, scratch, or rust issues underneath them... while they serve a purpose one way, they also cause others in a bad way...

Lol I handwash it majority of the time, I use the all in 1 turtle wax wash. We have a drive through mister wash and it actually does a great job + free vacuum. :wootwoot:

i ran a full bra & hood protector on my 91 Tracker (summit white) for 5 years.
took it off in twice a year to give it a good wax job. never had any paint, rust problems.
have run a hood protector on every vehicle since then.
93 s-10 blazer (red)
98 astro van (white)
03 TB EXT (tan)
09 TB (white) until recently.
no issues w/ paint or rust.
if you still want to use the deflector, than go w/ rcam81's set up
if you go w/ bra and hood protector like TexazReece, you will not be able to use your deflector

Do you have a part # for the cover ?

The thing I never understood about them was they are supposed to protect against bug guts, rock chips, yadda yadda... but if you have it on there all the time you never see what you're trying to protect anyway, so what's the point?

I had a bra on my 98 Camaro when I first bought it, but that's because it was helping hold the front end together and hide the hole in the fender lol. I took it off as soon as I replaced the fender.

I've never cared for the look.

The bug shield or the bra ? Im getting the bra to cover up what some schmuck did. I was supposed to call his insurance back on Monday but I dnt have time to okay games over the phone. Last time this happened on another vehicle it was telephone for two weeks I ended paying outta my.pocket for the repairs even tho I wasn't at fault
