My wife has been on me to get a trail camera to see what lurks around here at night (animals not thugs). My research has me ready to buy this Browning Special Ops Advantage because of it's good reviews and it's so easy that a Caveman can do it (me).
Any input from this diverse group would be greatly appreciated ....Mike.

Dick's Sporting Goods has a nice list for comparison and for "Best Sellers":

Try to get one that has these 'Dozen Best Trail Camera Qualities':

(1) Widest Possible "Field of View" (Side to Side).
(2) Has At LEAST Three Infra-Red Sensors.
(3) Holds 9 or MORE AA Batteries for LONG Life.
(4) Uses an SD Card up to 64 Gigabytes...or better (Probably have to Buy this one).
(5) Sports an Internal Casement Screen Image Viewer.
(6) Provides for LONG Digital Video Captures.
(7) Has 14 Mega-Pixel Image Resolution...or Better.
(8) Uses A LONG Tie Strap
(9) Provides Best Water Proof Sealed Up Casement &Impact Damage Rating vs. Cost.
(10) Has a Secondary SD Card Slot.
(11) Employs Camouflage that closely matches your local Year Round Flora.
(12) Is One that meets your Budget ...But Won't FAIL in the Long Run if Low Balled.
