For a while now I am getting traction control off service stabilitrak message on the onboard diagnostic . I just replaced the brake pedal position sensor as suggested as a fix but the message is still there . I don't have any dashboard warning lights on and the engine is running fine. I have also heard it could be a wheel bearing or sensor or a steering wheel position sensor any thoughts would be appreciated

You would need a mid grade scanner that has the ability to scan the ABS system.

Is it just the Stabilitrak light that's on? If so, that would mean it's likely the steering wheel position sensor that's defective. That's especially true if it's intermittent and happens when first turn the wheel.

If it's both the ABS and Stabilitrak lights are on, that's more likely an ABS issue and would require a scanner that can read ABS codes.
