Something in the shift linkage seems to be binding up when I manually shift to 2nd and then to 1st which takes about 30lbs of force to move the shift lever. So it looks like something may be in need of some lube. Are there any particular areas to lube or replace bushings and such?
Also, I have this recurring brake pedal squeak when pressing the pedal. I lubed it a few months ago but am afraid I might need some type of bushing there as well. Any tips?
