I think it's hard to see the lower valence damage, she also went over a bike rack which was completely under the car in the picture. She might have high-centered on that curb without the rack, but if she hadn't high-centered and the rack wasn't there she would have driven straight into a couple of parked cars just across the sidewalk.

It was crazy I heard squealing tires and not even much of a bang, and then cops yelling at her to get out of the car. They had been chasing her for a while was my guess, two different cities had cars on it, plus state patrol. There were like 6 cop cars there at first.

Not sure why she decided to pull into that lot, I think she had lost the tire about one intersection back. But I think it was not a series of good decisions that led her to that point in her life, anyway.
