“The Circle of Magnetism” (1968)

Even as far back in time as the 1960s ...the Principles that enable the operation of the Modern Electromagnetic Rail Gun can be seen as being very well understood. This is a State-Of-The-Art Kinetic Energy Weapon capable of hurling a Sabot-Shrouded Titanium Dart-Like Projectile at the astounding velocity of around 25,000 Miles Per Hour.

Besides describing the amazing power that can be generated by cleverly manipulating Electromagnetism by his modest demonstration of The Rail Gun, oddly enough, the Professor here demonstrates and cleverly explains this principle and many other similar scientific phenomena by using Hydrology.

He poses several experiments as Analogs for studying the various characteristics of Electrical Energy, Magnetic Force and the Motions of Molecules in Gases when he "Flips The Script" to enable us to SEE and OBSERVE how things that are invisible phenomena shape and power our world using his bizarre but cool Analogs ...to very great 'effect'.

Here is a slow motion demonstration of what is possible to do inside of an “Electromagnetic Cannon” in the absence of using ordinary, expanding percussive explosions created using Gun Powder, Double Base Cellulose Powder or Cordite Gun Powder Propellants ordinarily required to achieve incredible velocities and levels of energy capable of penetrating the thickest armor ...like Butter:

This thought provoking film explores things not often connected by our common experiences and proves that much can be gained in the Study of Science ...and in Life ...if one Keeps an Open Mind. The Famous Physicist Albert Einstein spent a good deal of his life trying to use Mathematics to combine the Physics of The Four Known Universal Forces that govern All Matter and Energy in the Universe into “One, Unified Theory”. However, his death prevented him from being able to complete his work. Electromagnetism IS one of these Forces and this is a List of them ALL:

(1) The Strong Nuclear Force
(2) The Weak Nuclear Force
(3) The Force of Gravity
(4) The Force of Electromagnetism
