NEED HELP Sway Bar Bolt Size

Hey guys,

Somehow both DS and PS sway bar bolts have come out. I searched the site without luck on this topic (or I didn't search with the correct words). I'm hoping to find the right size from you great people so I don't have to run out and get several pairs of assorted sizes. Maybe the Dealer will be able to tell me if y'all don't know.

It's 18 mm hex. Fine thread. Unless it's been replaced. Then it could be sae... My metric is pretty bad so I'm not going to take a stab at it....

So, I put my eyes on it this afternoon, AND the wife found my thread from December 2016 where our sons changed the end-links. Guess they didn't tighten them enough. I also read that IF they've been changed, they are likely SAE now, not metric.

I'll have to dig into my jar of nuts to find the correct size. I'll report back when I do....

An 18 mm open-end fit just right.

Both ends of the link, the balls are shot. Plus, while the nut was coming loose, the threads got all messed up and need replaced anyhow. Off to the parts store; maybe this weekend.
